Full grain leather
This
is a water repellent leather. This means
that it has been subjected to a waterproof
treatment during tanning. You can treat
this leather with a wide variety of different
products ie. sprays or waxes but remember
that many products penetrate the structure
of the leather and makes it softer. |

Nubuck
leather Also
this type of leather has the same characteristics
in the tanning process but as it has been
slightly buffed to obtain a velvety appearance
which will change if you wax it with a solid
wax. If you do wish to retain the velvety
finish use a waterproofing spray or a specific
product rather than wax. |

Suede
leather This
type of leather should not be waxed but
treated with a silicon or liquid protectors
based waterproofing product. |
